David Jones has stepped down from the Chairmanship of Enko® after over four years of engagement with the company. Marijn Dekkers, Chairman, Novalis LifeSciences LLC, and Enko board member since 2020, will take on the role as interim-Chairman.
David Jones has stepped down from the Chairmanship of Enko® after over four years of engagement with the company. He initially served as Chair of the Commercial Advisory Board and later as Chairman of the Board. Jones saw Enko through its transformation from a science startup in Boston to a research and development organization located at its dedicated site in Mystic, Connecticut.
Phil Austin, principal at Anterra Capital said, ‘‘we are grateful for David’s input and the breadth of industry experience he brought to Enko in its formative years, he was instrumental in putting Enko on a solid path.’’
Jones commented, "I believed from the outset and continue to believe, that Enko is the best opportunity for the crop protection industry to kick-start innovation with a new generation of safe and effective products. I expect we will see a growing number and range of exciting development compounds emerge from Enko in the coming years that will address important challenges in world agriculture.’’
